My background was originally in Social Work, working with families and children for 5 and half years with Human Services before venturing into Education and School Counselling. I have been an educator and school counsellor both at the Secondary and Tertiary Level in San Ignacio for 23 years before coming to San Pedro High School. I have a private practice, Counsellor Gillett’s Outlook Services, for mental health therapy approximately 5 years now. Because I have relocated to San Pedro, most private sessions are done virtually. I have provided services both for Human Development and for the Employee Assistance Program.
